against. I think such things only belong in the articles themselves, here in disam, it will just clog things up and make arguments. One comes to disam to sort out where things are, knowing the etym in this case probably won't help any. However, it IS a good idea to put it into articles where this is known.

The use in Finnegan's Wake isn't really a nonce word, is it? Joyce made up lots of nonce words, but here he was using an existing German word for partially phonetic reasons. (I see this actually got into the article on nonce word, though, so maybe there's some subtlety to "nonce word" that I'm missing.) -Matt McIrvin 14:11, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Quark is the name of a character in the early doctor who series, Agador of Pelagon, not to be confused with the robot Quarks. I don't have refs, its just in my memory so I will leave it for Whovians to do.
