Winners Since?

edit

What's the significance of the start year 1978 in this section? Moreover, is it more significant than any of the following start years I propose?:

  • 1987 - when race times start appearing
  • 1998 - first became a Group 2 status race
  • 2002 - first became a Group 1 status race

I prefer 1998, and without a response after a day or so I'll edit it to start in 1998 unless anyone is happy to do this immediately. 150.101.115.231 (talk) 06:37, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

My guess is that the person who introduce the list was working from a source which had detailed info from 1978 onwards. I can't see any point reducing the amount of information.  Tigerboy1966  09:32, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Instead of reducing the information, I'll make room for more in the G3 years.150.101.115.231 (talk) 09:30, 29 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
Note that it should be "Group" rather than "Grade". I think that the earliest table (1971-1987) should come first. Otherwise seems ok.  Tigerboy1966  11:05, 29 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
Sorted out the Group thing - I prefer "Group One" rather than "Group 1" personally. --Bcp67 (talk) 19:32, 13 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
