editWhat does "a growing outside population" (in the section on economy mean)? It doesn't make sense as written--I know there aren't large numbers of people living outdoors in Queens. Vicki Rosenzweig
A lot of the info on this page is redundant with the info on the Queens page. After all, Queens (borough) and Queens County are exactly the same place. Does anyone who knows more about the borough than I do care to merge the two? I suppose that, as with the other New York City boroughs, it makes sense to keep separate pages for the borough and the county, because of some nonoverlapping historical information, county seat information, etc.; but to the extent the information overlaps, there's no use in repeating it. I agree that combining the articles is prudent. I'll volunteer to do the combination. BOARshevik 19:20 9 Aug 2003 (UTC)
Economy
editand a growing outside population. I don't know what this means, and I'm a New Yorker. Is someone wittily suggesting that part of the economy of Queens is based on a growing number of the homeless? Wetman 00:21, 25 Feb 2004 (UTC)
