I know it's a thorny cannon issue, but I can't help but notice that the fall of Doriath isn't mentioned at all here, in spite of its being an entire chapter in The Silmarillion-- if one constructed entirely by the "editors" of the book. At any rate, it's worth a mention. 68.82.50.22
