editQuincy Owusu-Abeyie is a talented young Dutchman who spent nine years at the prestigious Ajax youth program in 2002. He has figured only a few times this year for Arsenal but has shown his quality, with man of the match in Arsenals 3-1 win over Everton in the league cup, the tournament he got his debut in, scoring and setting up the other two. He is a regular for the reserves and has netted 4 goals so far this year. Quincy also plays for Holland u-20's and has scored for them in two recent matches. He also scored six in Arsenal's 7-1 under 17 trashing of wolves.
Anyone reckon we should mention he's the cousin of the MOBO winner rapper Sway DaSafo?

editThis article is outdated and some of the stated information is not backed up with facts.
Also note that Quincy is a Ghanian and not a Dutch despite the games played for Netherlands under 21 team.Kendirangu 07:24, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
- deleting it is hardly productive and immensely irresponsible. go ahead and improve the article if you can. Chensiyuan 07:42, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
- In order to be eligible for Netherlands U-21, he has to have a Dutch passport, a Dutch citizenship. That makes him Dutch. Even if his switch to Ghana is approved, he will remain Dutch, because he will not give up his nationality. AecisBrievenbus 18:56, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
POV
editAn editor put this bit back in after I removed it:
In the first game against Japan the magnificent Owusu Abeyie's foraging run up the left saw him leave five Japanese players in his wake. The resulting low cross to Ryan Babel was nothing short of perfection, and the striker slammed home from close range. Owusu-Abeyie continually terrorised the Japanese right side with his mesmerising stopovers and dazzling ball control in the second half. Every touch of his, brought a roar of appreciation from the crowd.
I'm sorry but descriptions such as "magnificent", "nothing short of perfection", "mesmerising" and "dazzling" are hugely over-the-top and not even close to NPOV, so it needs to come out, and if it gets put back in I will take it straight out again...... ChrisTheDude 11:45, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
