Recent cuts

edit

This article does have a problem with neutral wording (and is too informal in style in places). But cutting referenced material will make it no less unbalanced. Also, it's important to leave the reference in place (and intact) when removing part of a sentence. Otherwise it's blanking and disfigures the article, as well as making it impossible to see where a piece of information came from. Yngvadottir (talk) 20:26, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Referencing

edit

We now have the opposite problem from blanking: FreeRangeFrog had determined that whole sections of the article do not cite any sources that actually mention Timberlake, and had cut them out accordingly. An IP has readded them one at a time. I have returned the article to the state in which FreeRangeFrog left it. IP, please respond here if you had added any new referenced information. Otherwise, all this material should be added back only with at least one 3rd-party reference in each case linking Timberlake to the event or issue. If he was one of those arrested, please provide a reference for that. If he spoke on something, there can be a short paragraph in the description of his views. Undue weight

edit

An editor recast the Personal life section of the article to mention the murder charge in its header and to also mention the charge in the lede. I have reverted these changes as undue weight. It is just that, a charge, he has been changed with and cleared of a crime before, and until the criminal justice system makes a determination it should not become a major focus of the article, per our policy on living people.
