editHe never got his degree, resigned from UCSD, and this should be reflected in the article.
Kind of ironic that in the scheme of things the least of his acheivements would count for so much. I wish I could exchange my BA for say the authorship of one of his books. jghitzert —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jghitzert (talk • contribs) 00:50, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Unsourced CV
editTo Socrates1987, Aichik, Chillum: Is there any reason why a BLP should contain a list of teaching posts that is not supported by any reliable sources? —C.Fred (talk) 20:25, 7 July 2014 (UTC)--
- No, but shouldn't an editor do some searching online, employ that "edit in good faith" Wikipedian spirit, before completely deleting? I'll look in a minute.--Aichik (talk) 20:31, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
- Per WP:BURDEN, "All content must be verifiable. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material...". (emphisis not mine). In addition, a list of teaching positions is usually not added to articles. Wikipedia is not a CV. Only the highlights and not the 15 or so stops the person has made. Note, this is the second time today I've been leveled with "edit in good faith" and I should do the work. First case involved copyright violation in which I should have fixed and not deleted. "edit in good faith" does not mean the other person always has to do the work. Bgwhite (talk) 20:42, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
