editI have an old lipstick holder with this text engraved on it. Does anyone have any ideas about its origin?
"Ireland"
editI don't think it's correct to say that the motto relates to "Ireland" but rather Northern Ireland or the British presence in Ireland. It has nothing to do with the Republic of Ireland or supporters of republicanism in the North. Eilidhmax (talk) 13:10, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
So what does it mean, really?
editWhat is the significance of the use of this motto? Why did those various organisations choose this motto? What does it mean in the 21st century? As it stands, the article is a little better than a Google translation and a list of organisations. Humpster (talk) 22:48, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
