Like many articles on figures within and around early Islam, this one needs NPOV editing badly, separating fact from legend as far as that is still possible. -- 92.224.247.182 (talk) 17:42, 20 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
I second this. Wikipedia doesn't expect people to accept as unqualified fact anything written in the bible, or elements of hindu or other traditions either. And neither should Wikipedia expect people to accept anything as unqualified fact merely because it is found in the quran or the hadith or islamic tradition more generally. Someone needs to fix this.
