Adirondacks lodge?

edit

He built a lodge in the Adirondacks for a rich family. The home is a hotel today. Anybody know more about it?... --Ragemanchoo (talk) 04:38, 15 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I created this article, and would be glad to look for that building. Do you know the town/city the hotel is located in, or the name of the hotel? K72ndst (talk) 11:49, 16 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
This is a major unappreciated precursor of early modernism. He deserves much fuller Wikipedia treatment.--Wetman (talk) 06:17, 8 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Good hint Ragemanchoo. It seems Robertson is one of the three great builders of Adirondack camps, especially Camp Santanoni for Robert C. Pruyn and Nehasane, where I see that he died. I've googled up this pdf document. Material here for a section of the article. --Wetman (talk) 08:19, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Since I started the article in 2008, it has really grown. I'd like to move all the photos to a gallery across the bottom. Any other takers? -- K72ndst (talk) 17:35, 28 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I don't think that would be a good idea, since it would be better to have images appear in some proximity to their mention in the article. Admittedly, the right-hand stack of images is not the most interesting of layouts, but it's forced by the number of bulleted lists, which make left-hand images not work very well (the lists are not formatted cleanly). The advantages of proximity outweigh the visual boredom. A gallery would not be the best thing for the article IMHO. Beyond My Ken (talk) 18:42, 28 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
