I disagree with this move from R574 road to R574 road (Ireland). If there is, as the move edit summary claims, a "standard regional road title format" of Rnnn road (Ireland) then that standard needs to be changed asap because it is in violation of WP:PRECISE: "Be precise, but only as precise as necessary." It is not necessary to specify R574 road (Ireland). R574 road is perfectly fine unless and until there is an article (or links meant for an article) about an R574 road somewhere else. If Rnnn is a common format for road names, then a better standard for the Irish roads would be Rnnn (Ireland) rather than Rnnn road (i.e. still no need for Rnnn road (Ireland)). Off the top of my head I can't think if anything else in Ireland named Rnnn for any value of nnn. jnestorius(talk)15:20, 11 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Hi Jnestorius, I was going through these to today for WP:IRE-IRL guidelines, and my opinion, which is not supported, is that it is for consistencey, there maybe some Rnnn that arent Ireland and it is easier to follow if they are all Rnnn (ireland)than change back and forth. Thats what I think, if I get to it tomorrow I will try to see bud. Murry1975 (talk) 23:45, 11 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
