Im the airman who fell asleep while on guard at the "back gate"!resulting in the charge that "the camp got no beans)!!! charge later dismissed.
The fact i had been up till 4.15am taking messages non stop,then fell asleep at 4.30 was taken into account.
The back gate is where "bits of papaer" were handed in via a small window signed for and then taken by express push bike to another small window and signed for.
I can also recall we had Cliff Richard and the Shadows on camp.
