Origin of the Orchestra

As early as 1901 Victor called its house orchestra for symphonic recordings the Victor Symphony Orchestra. Search "Victor Symphony Orchestra" in EDVR--the Encyclopedic Discography of Victor Recordings. Shortly after RCA bought Victor at the end of 1928 this house orchestra was called the RCA Victor Symphony Orchestra. Although Victor had a core group of house musicians, the personnel varied from recording to recording, and, indeed, sometimes the personnel were mainly from the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra. The Victor Salon Orchestra was a small house orchestra, indeed created, and usually conducted, by Nathaniel Shilkret. However the Salon Orchestra did not evolve into the RCA Victor Symphony Orchestra. Victor house conductors Josef Pasternack, Rosario Bourdon and Nathaniel Shilkret were sometimes conductors of the Victor Symphony from about 1916 to the early 1930s, and, although hard to document, Walter B. Rogers was likely the conductor for a large number of the earlier recordings.

I have a RCA record which is titled,'N' Everything-Fox Trot. It has a number on record which is 18507-B What is worth?
