Whilst I've created a small stub of an article for the newly announced party - RISE (as distinct from the Scottish Left Project, which is more of a project to create the alliance rather than the alliance itself), I've been wondering whether the best way of dealing with this situation might be to merge the two articles, with the emphasis being on RISE, whilst the background section of the page could deal with the Scottish Left Project. I think maybe part of the question is the extent to which the SLP has a distinct personality outside of RISE. I wouldn't advocate merging SSP into RISE for instance because I feel the two are rather more distinct/different. In contrast, the purpose of the SLP was to create RISE, meaning to some extent they're one and the same, and perhaps should be dealt with through the one article. Thoughts?
