Janes NWS and P-1000 Vulkan
editJust as a warning, the Janes NWS ref seems to have got thoroughly confused between the RK-55 and the supersonic P-1000 that is effectively an upgrade to the P-500 Bazalt (SS-N-12 'Sandbox') found on Echo II subs and Slava cruisers etc. It's the only source that thinks P-1000 has anything to do with RK-55 and all the Russian sources are unanimous in placing P-1000 on the P-500 family tree. I think I've cleaned out the confusion on this article for now, just beware in future. 82.31.15.11 (talk) 17:13, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on RK-55. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20090604084422/http://www.janes.com:80/extracts/extract/jalw/jalw2922.html to http://www.janes.com/extracts/extract/jalw/jalw2922.html

SSC-X-8 redirects here
editI see that SSC-X-8, redirect here to RK-55, a missile under developement in 1987. The New York times has the SSC-X-8 as a new cruise missile developed during the Obama presidency and recently deployed. Are the RK-55 and SSC-X-8 the same missile, and if not how can the redirect be removed? See link below.
