transit article needs to be renamed or merged with the rtc article

edit

this article needs to be renamed this transit agency is no longer called citizens area transit it is now called Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada(rtc) the same name as its owner agency —Preceding unsigned comment added by Javiern (talkcontribs) 02:20, 26 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Surely one of the most likely places someone coming here would want to go is to the RTC website (assuming there is one). Why isn't it prominent near the top of the page? Gary Turner (talk) 21:34, 12 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

The Vegas Bus Yard

edit

I removed the dead, occupied by domain squatter, The Vegas Bus Yard fan site external link. The site seems to have moved to a Facebook page. However, because that page also seems to be dormant, I declined to add it at this time. -- Ben James Ben (talk) 18:35, 11 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

BRT

edit

Shouldn't BRT be removed from the infobox among the services the RTC operates? Their website says that MAX was discontinued. There are some express routes and some with BRT-like features, but there doesn't appear to be any dedicated BRT lines in Vegas, anymore. --Criticalthinker (talk) 18:49, 19 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

I will be taking out mention of BRT since no one else has taken this up. --Criticalthinker (talk) 10:44, 3 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Since the MAX was discontinued, no true BRT's were left. The SDX was semi-BRT, but that too was discontinued. Routes like the SX,DVX,CX & BHX and just express routes in name only. The SX & BHX just took routes 206 & 107, removed a couple of bus stops then renumbered & renamed them. Jraywalkup (talk) 01:55, 4 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Bus retirement reasons

edit

Can you tell me the reasons for the retirement in each of all the buses? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Clrichey (talkcontribs) 06:01, 30 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Unless otherwise noted buses are retired at 12 years of age or 500,000 miles, whichever comes first. Jraywalkup (talk) 02:18, 2 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

The fares section was removed as the page, we're not a travel guide. Also the fancruft tab is completely legitimate as there is a waft of unsourced bus fansite material on here. Ajf773 (talk) 08:56, 1 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
