RX 550 (640SP) and RX 540
editThere appear to be atleast two RX 550 parts. While only the 512 stream processor version is discussed in todays review, there is a listing for an 640 SP version on the AMD website [1]. Also there is a listing for an RX 540 as OEM only.[2]. However, I cannot find any credible secondary sources for these parts. Seems legit, but how to include in the article, especially without confusing the two RX 550 parts? Dbsseven (talk) 16:27, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
Does the RZ 540X support OpenCL 1.0 or 1.2? How many compute units does it have? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.109.194.172 (talk) 15:03, 4 June 2019 (UTC)
please link this article with [_[AMD Radeon Rx 500 Series]_]
editWhile
- AMD Radeon Rx 300 series redirects to the AMD Radeon 300 series article
- and AMD Radeon Rx 400 series redirects to the AMD Radeon 400 series article
- the AMD Radeon Rx 500 series link is lost in nowhere, not redirecting to this article.
Please link them; I do not know how to do that. --178.19.232.88 (talk) 12:25, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
- Please see: Talk:List of AMD graphics processing units#"Radeon Rx" vs "Radeon RX" confusion.
In short, the "Rx" (lower case x) is an invention by Wikipedia (-editors) and no official denotation by AMD. However it is easy to confuse with the official "RX" denotation and thus should be avoided. Wikiinger (talk) 16:44, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
Vulkan 1.1 only for GCN 1.2 (2nd gen.) or higher
editVulkan 1.1 only for GCN 1.2 (2nd gen.) or higher See Khronos Vulkan product Table. No Vulkan 1.1 for 1st GCN gen. Here Radeon 520
See https://www.khronos.org/conformance/adopters/conformant-products/vulkan — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.90.228.17 (talk) 23:38, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
GCN 1.1 or 1st gen in Khronos are not conformant to Vulkan 1.1. They are only compatible to the Driver with Vulkan 1.0 as a Subset. it is the Same for OpenCL. Only OpenCL 2.x Cards can Do Vulkan 1.1 and that is GCN 1.2 and higher.
See also OpenCL in Khronos See [1]
Nvidia is here better. Kepler and higher can Do Vulkan 1.1. All products of the Last years can Do it and not only half. In OpenCL they are less good with OpenCL 1.2+.
Radeon 520 is not conformant to Vulkan 1.1.
for what the table Radeon Feature Matrix?
editin the table nothing concerns rx 500 series. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.72.218.249 (talk) 09:25, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
Metal???
editWhy is Metal API missing? AFAIK 500 series support Metal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.135.13.228 (talk) 18:47, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

Date format
editI reckon the date format should be changed from DMY to MDY given that all the newer articles (RX 5000, RX 6000, etc) are using MDY, alongside the GeForce articles, as well as AMD being a US company. AP 499D25 (talk) 02:42, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
