- First paragraph of article is incorrect/incomplete, radial tires were not universally standard in 1976, this only applied to specific models of some brands.
- For examples, see the 1976 Dodge car & truck data book and car selector. For some models like Aspen and Dart (see page 14 and page 40) bias-ply tires are standard, radials are optional). Even full-size Monaco had glass-belted tires (not the same as radial) with radials optional. Scott Satellite (talk) 01:11, 22 October 2022 (UTC)
