Disambiguation and clean-up
editIn order to clean-up this article according to Wikipedia standards it has become necessary to create a disambiguation page here in order that other articles bearing the name of "Radio Luxembourg" can be created. The original article contained a lot of misleading or totally incorrect information. To begin with three Radio Luxembourg entries have been listed for English, French and German, but of course there are/were more. The original article is now Radio Luxembourg (English) at this link. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fragilethreads (talk • contribs) 01:45, February 17, 2007
- All previous content of this talk page has now also been moved to Talk:Radio Luxembourg (English). __meco 08:22, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
It's not at all clear to me how this page is different than Radio Luxembourg (English) since most everything here seems to be covered over there, but this is supposed to be a disambiguation page so I've reformatted it to the Manual of Style. Ewlyahoocom 08:35, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
What about, you know, the normal one, in Luxemburgish??
editCause what my grandma and we listened to as kids in Luxemburg, every day, sure as hell was no German or Dutch or French, but Luxemburgish!
(Note that in Luxemburg, it is normal for newspapers to have articles in Luxemburgish, French or German mixed, sometimes even in the same article, e.g. citations. And on the normal Luxemburgish radio, people can just casually speak French or German without dubbing or translation. That does not make it German or French! The deciding factor is the dominant language among moderators.)

(Also, every time English speakers write Luxemburg with OU, every Luxemburgish person cringes. You’re not French. We are nit French either. So why are you using the French spelling instead of the Germanic one that we share? … Please ignore Luxemburgish officials. They speak a lot of French because they think it makes them part of ancient French aristocracy amd very special. Real regular Luxemburgish is closer to German, and French literally only became a thing as a reaction to the Nazi invasion. We have no beef with current Germans anymore. They even learn our language. While French speakery to this day arrogantly refuse to speak anything bit French. Making us not very hap about foreigners believing the French spelling is the correct one.
