editThe first sentence mentions "server racks, or desks in landscaped office areas." Not clear why these things would ever be put beneath a raised floor, and if they are on TOP of the floor, then that should be clarified, if relevant. Lupinelawyer 15:17, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
I think the author(s) show a negative bias about the system. One of the many benefits that I have repeatedly come across is ease of access to under-floor systems. The page implies that overhead systems get cleaned regularly and that under-floor maintenence is a much dirtier and more difficult job, which I cannot find literature to support.Sam0018 (talk) 16:08, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Sam0018
- The article never mentions overhead systems or ceilings or within wall systems that I can see. Extra citations never harm if you have some comparing things or saying anything about it. Dmcq (talk) 21:43, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
Merger proposal

- The result was to merge Raised Access Computer Floor into Raised Floor. -- AdabhaelTalk 19:00, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
I propose merging Raised Access Computer Floor into this page, as they are two terms for the same system. Raised Access Computer floor has less content and is a more specific term, so it seems to fall nicely under the more inclusive umbrella of Raised floor. Adabhael (talk) 18:55, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
- 'Support yes I fully agree. I can't see any point in having both and there seems litle in the way of extra useful information in the other article to carry over. Dmcq (talk) 21:52, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks Dmcq I went ahead and did the merge I hope I got all the steps right, although there is something odd going on with the from_oldid in the copied template. AdabhaelTalk 19:00, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- Fixed those - they require the full url. Dmcq (talk) 19:20, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
