A couple of standard ideas could make this article easier for the reader. The first, from the Manual of Style, is to reduce the occurrence of successive links such as [[apple]] [[orange]].
The second, which is my personal style, is to put the marriage and its background in a Family section at the end. That is, don't break up what is here the Career section with the details.
