Hank William song?

edit

I don't understand why it's called "Hank William song" in the title of the article. NickelShoe (Talk) 16:56, 10 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

It isn't anymore. I encountered some kind of dabatase error trying to move Ramblin' Man (Hank William song) to Ramlin' Man (album), which did not appear in the All Articles listing (I checked first). The article named for the song contained info about a 2005 album compiled from Hank Williams songs. (I know, you're saying I don't remember it right.) When the article got here, it was a 2005 album by Isobel. Whatever broken linkages were in the database seem to be fixed now, except for a strange edit history. Fair use rationale for Image:Ramblin man.jpg

edit

Image:Ramblin man.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Change the title back?

edit

I believe that the title should be changed back to "Ramblin' Man (Hank Williams song)." I believe this will differentiate it from the song and album compilation by The Allman Brothers Band, the Lemon Jelly song, the first track from the Steve Martin album Let's Get Small, the movie Concrete Cowboys, the song I'm a Ramblin' Man, by Waylon Jennings, and the song by Laura Marling from the album I Speak Because I Can. If anybody is willing to discuss the issue, please leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.--67.54.187.27 (talk) 01:10, 23 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

The result of the move request was: moved. Christ, the history is an absolute mess. The history that was at Ramblin' Man (Hank Williams song) needs to be preserved I think because it was merged into the article, so I'll move that to Rambling Man (Hank Williams song).
