word count
editThere is a kill count, but can someone provide a word count. Rambo only says around 50 or so words during the entire film.
- in the Deleted Scenes, he talks more. There is a Youtube video with those talk scenes. I have watched it myself today. 79.193.39.215 (talk) 19:49, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
Gravestone of his father?
editIn the article it is claimed that "Then he sees the gravestone of his father." (at the movie's end). But that is NOT true! There is no gravestone. There is a mailbox, "R. Rambo" written on it, and that's all. Rambo looks at the mailbox and then goes to the farmhouse. Cows are grazing peacefully. No gravestone! 79.193.39.215 (talk) 19:48, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
Infobox Insanity
editStallone is listed four times, but wikified only twice. Either he is wikified all four times, or one of those wikilinks should go. It's kind of absurd, either way. I would tend towards wikifying him for every new credit, but that's mainly because it would be funny. Howa0082 (talk) 05:50, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, I think the appropriate thing to do is have his name internally linked just once throughout the whole article. SmartSped (talk) 10:39, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Infobox Insanity: Part II
editSo, Stallone is no longer listed here as a producer on a movie he is a producer of. Looking at Imdb, I see no mention at all of Kevin King Templeton. There's a bunch of executive producers who weren't included in the infobox, so I have to ask why the arbitrary selection of people? Peter Block has executive produced every Saw movie so far. Why is he not included? I'm going to put Stallone back in the list for now. Howa0082 (talk) 21:21, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Alternate titles
editWhat's up with the "Angry Video Game Kid" section? This part seems to have little relevance. I vote to remove it.SmartSped (talk) 10:49, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Rambo curse
editI vote that this section is removed and combined with another section. It does not need it's own. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.103.206.11 (talk) 22:38, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Rambo 5
editStallone quote "Lionsgate jumped the gun on this. I just was thinking that the title John Rambo was derivative of Rocky Balboa and might give people the idea that this is the last Rambo film, and I don't necessarily feel that it will be. He's not an athlete, there's no reason he can't continue onto another adventure. Like John Wayne with The Searchers." So is there going to be another Rambo —Preceding unsigned comment added by Djamo (talk • contribs) 04:37, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
- Unless you can provide a referance this information is only a rumour... LOTRrules (talk) 17:23, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

editPlease expand the references in this article using templates as per Wikipedia:Citation templates. The article footnotes will look much better.--PremKudvaTalk 05:07, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Beckham
editYahoo reports that David Beckham will probably be in the film. Basketball110 20:38, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Jonathan Garret's quote
editWe need a source for this quote. Otherwise, it'll be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.213.241.13 (talk) 01:09, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- I've removed it now. Glades12 (talk) 12:26, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
Banned in Burma
editI heard Rambo (4) is officially banned in Burma. And that anyone in possession with a copy risks 10 years in jail (or 20 lashes) if caught. If found trying to sell it risk life in jail or even worse execution..
- This claim is verified by Stallone's commentary on the dvd. UniversalBread (talk) 00:15, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
Product placement
editStallone is known to be a Panerai fan and in this film he lets Rambo wear a Paneri PVD 5218-202/A. Paneri watches retail for between $5,000 and $11,000. Just the sort of watch a retired soldier, living on a subsistence income in the third world would have.
Probably an old present by the Army after he retired for the last time.
- That's funny stuff. Don't forget to add a source for it to the article, though, to avoid the appearance that it's original research (see link for policy). Cheers, Khazar (talk) 21:32, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
Burma or Myanmar
editshouldn't all references of the name burma be changed to myanmar?98.196.78.26 (talk) 19:58, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
- No they shouldn't. Burma is the name used in the film, and the use of Myanmar faces resistance from some who oppose the junta. Note the name of the article on Burma: it's "Burma" with Myanmar mentioned in the intro. (Ejoty (talk) 14:28, 8 September 2009 (UTC))
- I found mostly references to Myanmar here, which I've changed back to Burma (all instances except a ref title). --BDD (talk) 17:54, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
German/American movie
editThe movie was produced (and is under copyright) by the German Equity Pictures Medienfonds GmbH (http://www.rambothefilm.com/credits.jpg --IIIraute (talk) 03:34, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
En-Joo
editEn-Joo isn't killed by the grenade. After the shooting ends and Sara finds Michael, there's a brief shot of him going over to En-Joo and preparing a bandage, while En-Joo is either talking or coughing, but still clearly breathing.
Title inconsistency
editShouldn't the name of this article be "John Rambo", the same title that is shown in the movie? By what rule is the article title determined? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:3556:2060:59B2:675F:DED9:F5EA (talk) 02:26, 11 February 2013 (UTC) No. John Rambo is not title for USA but is title for Extended cut version in Usa
Hidden section
editThe section I have hidden is either a COPYVIO or mis-quoted and badly presented.
It is also unreferenced. It needs the quotes made into quotes, adding the author, and refs adding. Chaosdruid (talk) 03:43, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
