editWhy there is no mention about Randal's childhood or his family background? I would like to know this part too since he is an amazing man to me! I can not find this information on his website either. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.8.196.118 (talk) 10:40, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Articles like these needs a little bit more content. I've stuck a tv-bio-stub on it, as well as placing the cleanup tag again. --Penwhale | Blast the Penwhale 20:16, 14 November 2005 (UTC)
Why is it necessary to mention his "race" - the other pages for his fellow-contestants do not describe them as white or African-American or whatever. I looked for a policy but didn't find - would appreciate being pointed in the right direction if one exists.
Sorry, that last comment was from me at 216.58.12.102 216.58.12.102 17:10, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
- Because it marks an achievement in minority progress and the Show has only hired whites. I haven't watched it since then because of the subtle racism from people angry at Randal's decision, but I am guessing no other blacks have been hired.MPA 17:06, 13 March 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by MPA (talk • contribs)
Anyone know when Randal was born? -kamant3
- I just checked Randal's website ... and according to his bio, he was born in Philly. I just added his birthplace now. Amchow78 22:28, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
Randal is from New Jersey, but I forget which city. Regarding his race, Randal has been a leading advocate for minority involvement in the IT sector for many years, both on his own and through organizations like CTCNet.org; it's probably addressing it in the context of his work and activism. -Acarvin 17 Dec 2005
Not only that, but he was also featured in EBONY and Black Enterprise magazines, and I believe he is also a winner of Engineer of the Year from an ethnic-based group. In his case, a reference to his race is relevant. -- Jalabi99 03:39, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
Can't a picture of him be added?—This unsigned comment was added by 72.27.42.91 (talk • contribs) 19:36, 21 February 2006.
Anyone notice that during last night's Season 5 finale, there were still audible boos and hisses when Randall spoke? --Madchester 21:39, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
I didn't hear any boos or hisses, but I do notice that you are intent on presenting it that way (don't worry, I'll be back). -sdcarb 2 July 2006
