Boxer or Kickboxer?
editI had thought that he had originally trained as a kickboxer, and later switched to boxing for the bigger money. This seems much more likely given the fact that he could have been training in martial arts since a young age, but a man with his size/frame deciding to all-of-a-sudden become a kickboxer midway through his 20s isn't as likely. It might be unlikey, but if you take into account when her started boxing from kickboxing, then it would be more likely. Back in the 70s, kickboxing as a sport in the United States wasn't that big. And mainly the ones doing kickboxing were martial artists who competed in point sparring competitions and were the top champions. And most of these martial artists didn't learn martial arts from childhood up. They were usually adults, in their 20s-30s. So, for them, even though they were up in age, competition-wise, they were still not midway in tehir careers. SO, it's possibel to assume that Cobb could have started kickboxing in his 20s and did it for x amount of years and then decided to move into boing. Rayghost (talk) 10:21, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Why does your article say he was born in 1950? Are those records accurate???? I wish someone can prove he was born in 1953 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.84.243.196 (talk) 18:20, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

"Tex" as a nickname
editAny idea when he started using the nickname "Tex" or who gave it to him? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bronxpolwatcher (talk • contribs) 07:12, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
Middle Name
editIMDB lists his birthname as "Randall Hubbard Cobb" but there's no mention of "Hubbard" here. Any idea where that came from? Oldpantsnewjersey (talk) 23:53, 14 February 2016 (UTC)
Also, his birthdate differs. Oldpantsnewjersey (talk) 20:25, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
