... that Raoul de Gaucourt, who fought at the Battle of Nicopolis in 1396 and the Siege of Harfleur in 1415, was described by historian Juliet Barker as "a medieval chivalric hero whom the modern world has forgotten"?

Overall: @GiantSnowman: Nice article. Earwig only matched to a Wikipedia mirror. The hook is a bit too long as written, how about something like:
- ALT0a: ... that Raoul de Gaucourt, who fought at the Battle of Nicopolis in 1396 and the Siege of Harfleur in 1415, was described as "a medieval chivalric hero whom the modern world has forgotten"?
Happy to review any other suggested alternates as well. The article is full of interesting things. One other minor point (not a DYK requirement) — Juliet Barker is referred to as "Barker" under Siege of Harfleur but by her linked full name under the later Legacy section — think those should be flipped. - @DanCherek: happy to go with your alternative hook, and I will sort the Barker issue now. GiantSnowman 15:19, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
