How to deal with broken links?
editi just noticed that the external link "Rasterschlüssel 44 on Interesting Ciphers" is dead. What can be done to improve this? Thanks and sorry for asking such questions (as i am new to Wikipedia). Cryptocollector (talk) 23:16, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Cryptocollector, have a look at WP:DEADLINK on what to do with dead links. Another user has added a link to an archived version of the broken link in the meantime. – NJD-DE (talk) 11:04, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
British origin.
editDirk Rijmenants website, which is currently an external link to the Wikipedia article, states that the R44 was developed from, and is very similar to, a British cipher used in North Africa and captured by the AfriKa Korps. I have not attempted to verify this. Worth mentioning?
