Raymond Alvah Hanson should have a Wikipedia page. I created the page after finding that there was a mention of him on the Wikipedia Combine harvester page, but no page or further information about Hanson.

Hanson meets the Wikipedia criteria for a person/biography, he has received a number of honors and awards, and his inventions and production of those inventions have made a widely recognized contribution that is part of the enduring historical record in his or her specific field

He received recognition by the U.S. Department of Commerce for the coveted "E" and "E-Star" awards that are presented to firms by the president to recognize outstanding export success, the highest honor American companies can receive.

On Sunday July 13, a plaque honoring Hanson's contribution to agriculture will be presented to Raymond Alvah Hanson, The plaque will be placed in Heritage Park in Palouse, Washington designating the spot as a Historical Agricultural Engineering Landmark. The plaque is presented by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers.

In addition he has received a number of other awards, these include the Small Businessman's Award from the state of Washington in 1973; the Industrial Achievement Award from the Pacific Northwest Region of the American Society of Agricultural Engineers in 1978; Spokane Industrialist of the Year in 1979; and the Eastern Washington University Centennial Award in 1982. Hanson was awarded an honorary doctoral degree in Engineering Science from the University of Idaho in 1985, and in the same year was inducted into the University of Idaho Alumni Hall of Fame. In 1999, he received the Engineering Award of Distinction from the University of Idaho College of Engineering.
