Notable organizations that changed their logo to black and white

edit

Hi, according to my knowledge, those notable organizations might have changed their logo to black and white specifically only to their Singapore Facebook Page. Facebook has this option to merge different pages together under 1 main page. Basically, even though it shows you the total number of likes in total, the page are run by Singapore admin. Take Marvel for example, it brings you the a direct url of http://facebook.com/marvelsingapore.

As such, I doubt we should even add this additional column. Or if we do, we should mentioned that those brands specifically only changed their logo and banner to black and white for their Singapore page.

China tries to bully the Republic of China on Taiwan but Wikipedia has declared that it is neutral. Therefore, the name next to the flag shouldn't read Taiwan but should be Republic of China on Taiwan. [[Do not cave in. Tough sailor ouch (talk) 23:29, 23 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Cut-and-paste move

edit

This article was cut and pasted from Reactions to the death of Lee Kuan Yew by someone; old discussions are available at talk:Reactions to the death of Lee Kuan Yew -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 04:03, 24 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

The old talk is now documented in talk:Death of Lee Kuan Yew/Archive 1 -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 12:32, 26 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
Someone forgot to move the subpage when this was renamed; needs to move to talk:Death and state funeral of Lee Kuan Yew/Archive 1 -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 03:33, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
The article has been returned to "Death of Lee Kuan Yew" away from Death and state funeral of Lee Kuan Yew, so the archive has been reattached -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 04:10, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Leaders who are attending the wake

It would be good if editors can cite the sources. StandNThrow (talk) 08:11, 26 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

New page for foreign dignitaries who paid respects

edit

The list of foreign dignitaries who paid respects to the late LKY is not complete and still growing. Might want to consider having a new page for that particular aspect. Example , List of dignitaries at the state funeral of Nelson Mandela

Leave it as it is first. We will move after 29th March if need be. StandNThrow (talk) 06:59, 27 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Introduction do not need to include countries that will fly their flag at half mast

edit

I feel that there is no need to include the two countries (specifically New Zealand and India) that will be flying their flag at half mast on Sunday. This should be included under the relevant section under foreign reaction to the death of LKY Discmon (talk) 05:39, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

How about a new section for that if the number of nations having half mast increases? StandNThrow (talk) 09:44, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Citations for dignitaries

edit

Source is needed when adding dignitaries to the list of leaders attending the funeral on 29th March or it will be trashed. StandNThrow (talk) 13:03, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Singapore Standard English

edit

I noticed that in the beginning of this article, the word hospitalised is used. Later the word criticized is used.

Because Lee Kuan Yew is from Singapore, I think it is more appropriate to use Singapore Standard English. We should add a tag to the talk page about it. Replaceinkcartridges (talk) 02:59, 3 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Amos Yee

edit

All others quoted were either dignitaries or significant personalities in their own standing. Amos became Famous for his one video about LKY. Zhanzhao (talk) 01:28, 5 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Update: A good point that this is not an eulogy. But is it necessary to go to so much detail here? Considering it is already wiki-linked to its own article. Zhanzhao (talk) 04:01, 8 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
