I agree with the proposal - but the claim in the Red Branch Knights article that the stories of the Ulster Cycle date from the Bronze Age need to be removed. Even Kenneth Jackson's belief that the Ulster Cycle was a "Window on the Iron Age" is challenged these days by scholars who see the stories as essentially medieval. --Nicknack00922:15, 20 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Agree. I wrote most of the Red Branch Kinghts article but I'm no expert on the subject by any means. The only question is should readers be re-directed to here or Red Branch Knights?.
It should be here. The name "Red Branch" in the earliest stories applied to the building, and only later was it used as the name of the group of warriors. --Nicknack00923:05, 30 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
