Red Bud, GA is a small community located in the northeastern part of Gordon County.

Sonoraville High burned to the ground in the early 1950's after a mysterious fire claimed one life. The school was rebuilt and reopened in 2004.

Red Elementary once included a middle and high school, but the high school closed down after the 1991-1192 school year.

Sonoraville Middle has been open since 1991.
