Red Hill Water Contamination Crisis

Opening a section for discussion.

Should the water contamination crisis be considered for its own article separate from this one? The water crisis was pretty severe, lasting several months and affected some 93,000 residents. [1]

I would like the advice or aid of more experienced Wikipedians for a substantial change like this. There already exists a warning tag on the page for minute detail, so it is already established the article has issues.

Thanks for starting the discussion. The article is a bit of a mess since a lot has been added out of chronological order. The article is not too long, it just has sections with excessive detail. There is a paragraph that begins "In December 2021, " I would suggest to start editing there. It is easy to move content and trim after a careful reading but that will take time. Hopefully other editors will join in to improve the article. If the Crisis gets too long it can always be split into a separate article. Cheers, Fettlemap (talk) 21:49, 23 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Trogdor314, the article was in good (much much better shape) in 2015, if you want to have a look here. I edited it from June 2014 to September 2015 with numerous refs. It made sense, as opposed to the shell that is remaining now. It has been systematically eroded or hollowed out as other articles of US military sites on WP with critical environmental contamination. It is a disgrace and evidence of a systematic effort to conceal what has happened.--Wuerzele (talk) 12:32, 31 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Looks like the Red Hill water crisis has its own page now. Great work to all the editors.
