Loujaine
editLocated directly south of the grain terminal is a permanently moored bulk carrier named the Loujaine. formerly the ABU Loujaine, the ship was built in 1966 in Nagoya, Japan for Arabian Bulk Trade (ABT). The bulk carrier used to transport cement and dry cargo until around 1985, when the ship lost its certification and was permanently moored in Brooklyn close to the grain terminal and has remained there ever since. The ship was later renamed to just Loujaine. I feel like this should be a further addition to this article or the Red Hook or Gowanus Canal articles, or have its own article about it. 100.38.84.234 (talk) 19:44, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
