removed passage
editI removed the following passage:
- A party generically described as red is usually social democratic, socialist, or communist in ideology. An exception is the Republican Party of the United States, which has been associated with the color red since the 2000 U.S. presidential election.
First of all, this was inaccurate as regards the Uruguayan and Paraguayan Colorado Parties, so I edited that in. But then I realized the comment doesn't belong in a disambiguation page anyway. Dab pages are not supposed to be homes for expository material; they're just navigational aids. The reader can find out the political leanings of the parties by following the links. --Trovatore 05:42, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
new article
editIn Utrecht, Netherlands the youth-organised 'red parties' are an uprising phenomenon. I'd like to write an article about these characteristic parties but I don't know how to create one.
