A contributor asserted on 11/14/08 that Red River, the sub-tributary of the Mackinaw River, is actually the same as Walnut Creek, a nearby watercourse that also flows into the Mackinaw River. This assertion is not correct; the Red River and Walnut Creek are two nearby but different watercourses. Bigturtle (talk) 23:17, 14 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
