Shouldn't the jersey articles be re-written by concept, rather than colour? What I mean is, have a page called "King of the Mountains", and in there explain what colour jersey is awarded in each event. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Timtranslates (talk • contribs) 10:27, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, and such articles do exist (a bit bare though they are). I think articles like this should best be considered as disambiguation pages, even if they aren't WP:DAB pages in the classic sense. Currently yellow jersey redirects to General classification in the Tour de France. While this is probably the most likely article a reader who enters "yellow jersey" into the search bar is seeking, the TDF is far from the only race that awards a yellow jersey. Consider White jersey. Not a dazzling article by any stretch, but it's a good indication of an article that can comfortably disambiguate between different jerseys of the same color in different races.
