editShouldn't this be at Referenda related to the European Union? 195.92.40.49 (talk) 19:30, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, OK. Just read Referendum#Terminology 195.92.40.49 (talk) 19:31, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Greenland
editGreenlandic European Economic Community membership referendum, 1982 doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere. Please add it somewhere. (212.247.11.156 (talk) 22:45, 14 February 2010 (UTC))
8. Euro - sloppy language suggests author's bias: 'Sweden has not received an opt-out, yet refuses to join for now, as well. Two referendums have been held on the issue up to now, both of which failed:'. These referendums cannot sensibly and impartially be said to have 'failed'. They produced a 'no' vote on joining the Euro which, presumably, the majority of voters in those ballots did not consider a failure.
Greece, 2015
editin the text it is mentioned: "...the government accepted a bailout with even harsher conditions than the one rejected." this is a subjective view... shouldn't someone rephrase? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iason z (talk • contribs) 22:36, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
Value of referendums questioned
editAs the United_Kingdom_European_Union_membership_referendum,_2016, and particularly the 2nd referendum has showed, a lot of people will vote against anything the EU wants to do (ie adding more member states, implementing an EU constitution) just because they don't agree with other decisions that were made by the EU in the past (migration issues, financial/economic issues, ...)
Perhaps mention this on the page somehow ? KVDP (talk) 08:38, 26 June 2016 (UTC)
I disagree. This page shouldn't include any political analysis. Its purpose is simply to list concisely the referendums related to the EU. Teemu Leisti (talk) 17:52, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
