This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... Refilewe Modiselle is a popular South African icon and the first albino black model to gain favor with the South African public. As far as I know, the manner in which I wrote the article is completely factual and objective and complies with Wikipedia's criteria as much as Kate moss's article or any other models page does. Please tell me if there are any changes that I can make to redeem this article before you delete it. --MPR90 (talk) 07:54, 31 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, this definitely should not be deleted. She even made Oprah's "Power List" in 2013. Clearly established notability. I can see why it would have been questionable in 2012, but it isn't any longer. — SMcCandlish ☺☏¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ᴥⱷʌ≼ 15:12, 14 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

I added several interviews, a short non-interview (all from Oprah Magazine), and a TV piece. These can be WP:MINEd for a lot of additional detail; I only added a couple of things, because I was really working on Albinism in popular culture and didn't realize she already had an article here. Probably at least 20 additional relevant facts about her can be gleaned from these 5 sources alone. — SMcCandlish ☺☏¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ᴥⱷʌ≼ 15:12, 14 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
