Translation (biology), ==Termination== says that "A third release factor RF-3 catalyzes the release of RF-1 and RF-2 at the end of the termination process", while in this article it is written that the function of RF-3 is unknown. Should this sentence be changed? Andrius 22:26, 29 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

In the second edition of Molecular Genetics of Bacteria (2003), by Snyder and Champness, they also mention a fourth release factor. However, they do not say anything about the function of neither RF3 or RF4. 130.243.248.239 14:00, 27 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

The was a proposal to use RF4 for the Ribosome Recycling Factor but the term was seldom used [1] RF4/RRF

I'm not sure the split into types was needed but this will allow expansion TransControl 09:03, 4 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

It would be helpful if we could add links to the proteins, e. g. to NCBI and/or UniProt and so forth. Many other articles in regards to molecular biology have such links; the article here right now is a bit ... sparse. Could be improved. 2A02:8388:1604:CA80:7AA0:255D:4602:ABA7 (talk) 20:25, 22 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
