On Judaism & Islam.

edit

This two new religions in South Korea has no social impact so it must be removed because the religions discussed are the prime movers & has effects on the historical & social norms of the Republic of Korea. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.54.68.114 (talk) 13:55, 2 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

POV problem

edit

Buddhism and Confucian are described as a "set of ethical beliefs" rather than religions here. This is an example of bias against a neutral definition of religion along non-theistic or non-organisational lines. For instance, animist religion among indigenous people has a limited degree of personal authority in such figures as shamans - not that that's the situation in Korea of course - and both Buddhism and Confucianism are anthropologically speaking as much religions as any Western religion such as Christianity or Islam. Simply because they might lack certain features of the religions with which Anglophones might be familiar doesn't mean they're not religions. Also, many Christians are non-denominational or more informally organised and would be just as difficult to establish by a "head count" through formal organisations, and even if this is not the case in South Korea itself, this would be true in certain other countries, swinging the phenomenon in the same direction there. Due to this, I see that statement as problematic and very biassed.

Wikipedia isn't allowed to display this junk.

edit

As far as I'm concerned, the Wikipedia Korea Religion page is harming my life and countless others. The Presbyterian Church is currently a hostile foreign entity more so than the Pope in Rome. I wouldn't display a page about Death to America at Americans for example. Not a single Korean there thinks anything Americans do. Its a fantasy page. This fantasy page plays no part in reality or in person. Therefore Wikipedia has displayed at me Death To America of no other meaning because the Korean rogue governments lies. Theres no "information" in lying about the institutions of a country. Horace Allen the American Doctor man, Horace Underwood his British sidekick and rival and reenforcement, Call of Korea, Saemoonan, Yonsei, the Catholic "French" connection (almost), a close second Methodist, Woodrow Wilson League of Nations what happened, they play that in Armenia, Japanese Colonialism spinoff comic. That still isn't Death to America, death to you, reader, Park Chung Hee would regularly give a speech on death to all of those. Point of this top of the pyramid Presbyterianism is to idolize not dispute the current spin they do about Dixieland, Southern Presbyterian is the Dixie battleflag, be a hick redneck, Southern PResbyterians with Northern PResbyterians equally make that, Northern Presbyterian has no different confession to make. Divide the country from thin air.Under that is more death to America too. MikeDwight12 (talk) 14:00, 4 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

This article makes no sense

edit

This is very poorly written, so much so that it is impossible to make any sense out of this article. Honguito loco (talk) 13:11, 30 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
