this should be merged with Religious Education

I can understand the seeming wisdom of merging this page with Religious Education or Moral educatio or Philosophical Studies. However, I think it would be better tokeep them separate for the following reasons.

1. There are extensive bodies of knowledge and literature on Religious Education and Moral Education. Although there is plenty of overlap and much confusion over the terminolgy they are slighly different. No all morals come from a religion.
2. Philosophy is not just about religious or moral topics.

Religious Education and Moral Education may be synonymous for some religious educators. But from the perspective of moral educators, this seems to be somewhat of a hostile takeover. The premier organization for moral education is The Association for Moral Education [1]. Since its inception, AME has maintained a secular stance to moral education, maintaining that the two topics are mutually orthogonal.--Jeremyfrimer (talk) 17:03, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

So wait, I'm being told that a certification program in one country (this article) and the entire concept of education in religion (Religious Education) are the same thing enough to merge? That's crazy. I'm removing the merge tag. D O N D E groovily Talk to me 06:00, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

Title spelled incorrectly

I can't move it to the correct spelling as the page already exists. Dsp13 (talk) 06:04, 8 May 2012 (UTC)
