History should cover SPLC's Characterization, additional details from Politico piece

edit

User:Pnoza had reverted the section containing the admittedly sharp characterization of the group by the SPLC. Given that most mainstream coverage of the group (LA times and Politico) had included references to this description, it is due in the article. Politico also offers analysis that is somewhat critical of Espinoza and suggests much of the activism was tied to political ambition and suggests mishandling of funds. I haven't searched for other sources reporting the same, but there's probably more here that should also be added to the article. 24.96.130.81 (talk) 01:09, 20 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

SD is behind the negative edits about this organizations. She has been trying to smear & slander the organization for almost a year. The edits made by "Anonymous with IP address 24.96.130.81 should not be added due to a personal agenda. Unsigned comment added by Pnoza (talk)

I'm not sure where any of either of your info is coming from but when looking at all of the sites where "anonymous" is getting their info none are actual facts. They're all OPINIONS and have not been proven. Therefore, they should not be put on wikipedia as facts. Maybe "anonymous" should read the rules of wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TXWhistleBlower (talkcontribs) 01:30, 20 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Fair warning: admins can use CheckUser to see if you are using closely related accounts to abusively edit. If this happens to be the case, you may be indefinitely blocked from editing for doing so. I'll also ask you one more time to review WP:COI. After this, I will have to report it to the appropriate noticeboard if your edits still seem to be in violation. 24.96.130.81 (talk) 01:44, 20 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

SPLC is a hate group

edit

Why is the SPLC quoted in this article? The SPLC is a known hate group that is anti-American and anti-White, which has been successfully sued for defamation and had judgements against it (i.e., the SPLC lost the defamation suit). The SPLC is not an acceptable or reliable academic source for Wikipedia and it would be an embarrassment to the whole Wikipedia community to cite the SPLC;s biased views in any article.Starhistory22 (talk) 16:55, 21 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
