- As far as I can tell, Pierre Laval did not confiscate the film personally; rather, a decree by him allowed police to confiscate it.
- It seems like Afrique 50 was made in 1950, but released in 1956. I've changed that in the article. HueSatLum 21:23, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
