Proposed merge
editI propose merging this article into Reparations (transitional justice). I recognize that the transitional justice article focuses on reparations paid by state actors as part of the field of transitional justice. However, the separation of reparations paid by states and other kinds of reparations strikes me as arbitrary, and obviously Wikipedia doesn't have enough editors in this area to maintain separate articles on these topics, since this article is merely a stub. Furthermore, I propose the resulting article be simply titled "Reparations". Sondra.kinsey (talk) 11:38, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose: we're in agreement that the topic overlap, but I do feel that transitional justice reparations are distinct from those in criminal law and should be kept separate. Also, a broad Reparations page won't work as the existing disambiguation page already there shows; there are may competing uses. Klbrain (talk) 22:37, 1 November 2018 (UTC)
