Unnecessary Nonsense
editThis article is ridiculous. Its title is so misleading and incorrect it's incredible and all the material has been dealt with in Association_football_in_the_Republic_of_Ireland#League_system and mentioned in most, if not all of the articles on the League of Ireland. Is there a prize awarded for whoever can create the most articles or just the most stupid articles? Onetonycousins (talk) 17:05, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
- I don't see this article as stupid, however unlike the one you linked too - the majority of this article is sourced whilst Association_football_in_the_Republic_of_Ireland#League_system is entirely unsourced and the rest of the article is severely lacking in citations. In fact if sources can be found for that other articles related information we could transfer the bulk of it here and section "See also" link to this one if we make this one the main one where it can be expanded fully. Just an idea to improve its scope and content. Mabuska (talk) 19:43, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
Removals
editI don't see how citation could possibly be needed for the title, it's a description not an official term. The same goes for the 'who?'. I'm removing both. Fionnsci (talk) 12:41, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Also, the factual accuracy can't be questioned so I'm removing that tag. This issue is not whether or not the information is true. No lies are being told. Fionnsci (talk) 13:15, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Irish league redirects here?
editI don't know why Irish football league system redirects here. This is about the League of Ireland, not the Irish Football League. The page should be a disambig, not a redirect. --75.176.181.60 (talk) 03:55, 20 February 2014 (UTC)

Level 3
editIt says the number of clubs for level 3 is 28 yet the two league that maintain clubs only add up to 24. Jamestwice Jamestwice (talk) 22:49, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
