Redirect
editNotability for an unreleased/forthcoming/planned/whatever album requires substantial coverage in reliable, third-party sources. WP:MUSIC
This article provided no sources of any kind. I was unable to locate any substantial coverage on the album in any reliable, third-party sources. That tends to say "delete".
However, the band's own website does mention the title, making it a reasonable search term, thus the redirect. If anyone wishes to contest my action, they are certainly welcome to do so. If the page reappears without substantial coverage, though, I'll take it right to AfD and I'm pretty confident the result will be the same. - Mdsummermsw (talk) 14:22, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- I suppose a redirect will be fine until it's actually released, but I would contest deletion altogether, as it's notable, and people should at least know it's coming. Thanks, Jay (talk) 20:10, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

- It may be "notable", but it's not notable. Taking this to AfD would not have been a suggestion to delete, but a fomalization of the redirect. If a notable band says they are planning to release an album, that certainly belongs in the band's article, but it does not become "notable" enough for its own article without independant sources. - Mdsummermsw (talk) 12:15, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

- And I'm fine with the the redirect. The album's info has been pretty much shared from SOB to the fans, and from what most people have said, quoting a fan-site for info on it wouldn't be 'proper' (although it seems to only be a problem when I do it, as other people do on articles, and it's left there). If it would be proper, I can re-add everything and source it to various pages/posts on SOBCentral.com. Otherwise, a re-direct is fine. Jay (talk) 20:20, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
