In the fall of 2020, Reseda Charter High School will become a 6-12 span school adding middle grades 6-8. Beginning with a 6th grade cohort of 60 students, the middle grades will grow from 2020 to the fall of 2022 to host 186 student in the middle grades. With a focus on the arts and a STEM education, the middle grades will offer a college preparatory curriculum, school for advanced studies, and dual language for Spanish speaking students who are new to the country. Students will have the opportunity for career exploration in biomedical science, careers in medicine, computer science/app & game design, engineering, film & video production, public service, and sports medicine. The program will feature band every day in sixth grade with Reseda Charter High School's award winning band director, dance, cheer, studio art and softball workshops.In 2022, qualified 8th grade students will have the opportunity to take foreign language and biology for high school credit and passport to entry level AP courses.
