I've created this rather stub-like page to provide the link between the geological modelling and reservoir simulation modelling articles. Otherwise, we only have the horribly vendor-specific page Seismic to simulation to cover the whole workflow. We might want to move some general material from that page, although the more specific geologic modeling and reservoir simulation articles should cover it. When things have settled down, I propose that we delete "Seismic to simulation". Andy Beer (talk) 21:09, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Merger proposal
editA few years ago, there was an informal discussion in favor of merging Seismic to simulation into this article. All the reasons for doing so still apply - so perhaps it's time to do it. RockMagnetist (talk) 21:06, 1 March 2013 (UTC)
The contents of the Seismic to simulation page were merged into Reservoir modeling on 6 September 2016. For the contribution history and old versions of the redirected page, please see its history; for the discussion at that location, see its talk page. |
