Polish article
editHi, anyone for creating an article for the Polish wiki? Would Architektura uzdrowiskowa be the correct title? At least Poles told me it was an option for the name of the style. Otherwise, we'll just go for the original title "Bäderarchitektur". Cheers, Horst-schlaemma (talk) 16:49, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- I titled it "resort architecture" because this is English Wikipedia and Bäderarchitektur is not a proper name nor would it be intelligible to 99% of readers. I did cite a well-known guidebook as an example of the name and it is a commonplace term. In fact, now you've added examples from other countries that don't speak German, there's even more reason to stick to the common English term. HTH. --Bermicourt (talk) 17:52, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, I think you misunderstood my request. I'm looking to create an article at the Polish Wikipedia, because resort architecture is quite common at the (formerly German/Prussian) Baltic coast. People in an architecture forum told me that "Architektura uzdrowiskowa" would be a correct term, and well it seems plausible, looking at this, this or this. - Sorry, Horst, yes I thought you were proposing a change to the title! I'm afraid my knowledge of Polish is negligible, so can't really help. You could try WikiProject Poland and WikiProject Architecture for help. --Bermicourt (talk) 10:21, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
