Should this page be merely a redirection to a chemistry article on cross-linking in polymers?

In Australia, at least, 'reticulation' is used to refer to the network of pipes or wires providing services (such as water, gas, electricity, telephony, cable TV, data etc) to the point of use, such as a house, or a desk in an office.

Reticulation in the above sense is a vital component of society's infrastructure, and perhaps deserves substantial treatment in this wonderful place.

In fact, should this page redirect to the cross-linking article at all? In my long lost education in chemistry I never heard reticulation used to refer to polymer cross-linking, and indeed the word does not appear in that article.

Fix as a disambiguation or classify as a stub broad-concept article

This page does not currently conform ro the disambiguation guidelines or the disambiguation page manual of style. However, it seems to me that there is scope for a broad concept article here about the various net-like patterns described as "reticulated". The current article could form a stubo this. Which do people thingk is more appropriate? Looking for consensus before I make any changes. MegaSloth (talk) 13:09, 6 December 2018 (UTC)

There's a good argument for making this page a BCA. Its entries are all applications of one definition of reticulation — network of criss-crossing [things] — rather than a list of homographs with differing meanings. On the other hand, similar pages such as Network work well as dabs, and the remaining incoming links should resolve to one of the dab entries with expert help.
